Taylor Swift, the rarest pop phenomenon is a star who managed to move between the genres of country and mainstream culture, and has become an iconic figure in the pop world. Swift also took on every continent during the course of her journey. Swift dropped country as if it was an additional layer and proved that she's perhaps the smartest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. A person who has the ability to tap into the mood of times to make her music personal as well as be able to perform at the opposite. Her early songs like the Neotribute for Tim McGraw were a testament to her talent. But, her follow-up album Fearless from 2008 showed a songwriter finding her voice, and also a larger audience. Fearless was a huge success not just in America and six of the singles have been declared platinum, on top of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But the album also enjoyed a great reception across all over the world. Swift managed to build upon her popularity with Speak Now almost two year later. The next three years, her popularity increased through the years -the albums - Red (2012), Reputation (2014) as well as 1989 (2014-2015) during which time she moved into a realm of pop where her talents were already established. Her popularity grew even after she altered her plan in 2020's more streamlined siblings the folk singer (and Evermore) and stayed at the top of the charts.
