Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer known as a member of the band One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own band, composed of 3 classmates. The band was dubbed the White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they won. Despite having an interest in music the man also had a dream of becoming the next lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. He was employed at a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and did Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. This was the reason that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form an ensemble called One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were created in the year 2010. The band performed songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the potential winners for the prize. They were in third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract for One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
