Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is a famous American actor, performer as well as a writer and director. Her most well-known work is her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she has also produced and appeared in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Additionally, she was Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is a talented artist. The father of her is Jewish as is her mom. She was born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up at a Reform synagogue in Alabama. Benson was first seen in films like The Killing Jar. Benson was also a part of TV shows such as Morganville The Series. When she was in front of the camera, she employed her writing talents to create the Ghosts of Albion and direct projects, like the 2010's Drones.
